BAUER has been manufacturing high pressure compressors for more than 60 years. From its beginnings in the BAUER family home in Munich, Germany in 1946, to its current status as an industry leader, BAUER has earned a reputation as one of the world's foremost innovative designers and manufacturers of high pressure compressors and purification systems. BAUER specializes in compressor technology for various applications including: Breathing air; industrial air and gas; less lethal weapons; paintball; natural gas refueling; plastics technology and gas assist.

BAUER Plastics Technology Group is dedicated to the success of the plastic injection molder. Its R&D Groups, technical centers, and training schools are staffed with experienced plastic professionals that can provide the expertise required for a successful installation of the gas assist process.

Since its inception, BAUER has expanded internationally with offices in Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Austria, England, France, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, India and the United States. The U.S. facility, dba BAUER Compressors, Inc. of Norfolk, Virginia was founded in 1976.
