In any case, depending on your water contamination level, water chemistry, and application, we use either a combination of granulated activated carbon (GAC) or ion exchange resin to remove your PFAS and other contaminants to non-detectable levels.
Typically, Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) is used to remove many of the organic and metal contaminants caused by past industrial pollution, pesticide leaching, landfill leachate, and other sources found in water.
Ion Exchange Resins (IER), have been thoroughly tested and proven and are used to remove all PFAS contaminants. They will remove both short- and long-chain PFAS—including PFOA (Perfluorooctanoic Acid), PFOS (Perfluorooctane Sulfonate), PFNA, PFHxA, PFHxS, PFHpA, PFBS, PFBA, and many other contaminants.
When GAC & IER are expertly combined for PFAS removal, these systems become ideal for either short-term rentals or long-term PFAS clean-up projects.
And, most of these PFAS treatment systems can be deployed, set up and working quickly, usually within days.
Mobile Rental Systems are available.
Frequently, they fit into your operational budget. No Capital Investments.
