ChlorTainer™ – Secondary Containment Vessel for Chlorine Gas

ChlorTainer is a high-pressure containment vessel into which a 1-ton or 150-lb chlorine gas cylinder is processed. If the cylinder should leak, chlorine gas is contained within the vessel and processed at a normal rate. All of the chlorine gas is used, and no hazardous waste is generated. With ChlorTainer's secondary containment system, no scrubber systems, fans, pumps, tanks, or mechanical systems are required. Simply position the system on a concrete pad and bolt it down. ChlorTainer provides safe, reliable, and trouble-free maintenance.

ChlorTainer can be installed indoors, or even located in an open-air structure as long as it provides shelter from direct sunlight and rain. The vessel is built to ASME code and can easily withstand the maximum pressure produced by a failed chlorine cylinder. Industry experts widely recognize ChlorTainer as the safest technology for chlorine processing and leak mitigation.
