Mounted Reference slides with relocatable grids
The Reference slides come in two versions:
Version A , the fibers are mounted with the grids affixed.
Using these new gridded cover glasses…., relocatable reference (REF) slides are prepared from American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Proficiency Analytical Testing (PAT) samples of Amosite, Chrysotile and Man-Made mineral fibers. This version of slides is used for analyst training to identify asbesti forms, and for analyst/microscope performance assurance.
Verified count (REF) slides are also available.
Version B , the fibers are mounted with the grids affixed and a detailed count and location of fibers accompanies the slide
These verified slides are examined by experienced analysts and the locations and number of fires in designated fields are recorded in simple line drawings that accompany each purchased slide.
